Hot blues rock number from a hot blues rock singer! I love his voice, especially on this song. It was one of the hottest songs on your radio 16 years ago this week. I ignore the song then, but now I love this song to death!

OH man... this one is one of those that I still LOVE to this day... There's a few of his songs of his I REALLY like... this one, "Up Where We Belong" (w/Jennifer Warnes), "You're So Beautiful To Me", "Shelter Me", "You Can Leave Your Hat On"... lots of CLASSICS!

I would've liked it more if someone other than Joe Cocker sang it.

I would've liked it more if someone other than Joe Cocker sang it. Say what?! Who?! ;) Ray Charles? I personally believe it or not was the perfect candidate for this song.

I don't know who else. Joe Cocker's gravelly screams gets under my skin.

This is one of the rare occasions where I like one of his songs.

I just heard this song today for the first time in years. It's good, but like somebody else mentioned, his screaming is kind of irritating (and a little embarrassing).

Haven't heard this in ages, but I like it well enough.

I would rank this as my favorite Cocker song.
On AT10 several years ago, I believe this was played when the spotlight theme was "Songs That Feature A Choir."

Joe's last Top 40 hit. It was helped by its inclusion as the closing song to the 1989 Tom Selleck movie "An Innocent Man".
