The final cut on "Barry Scott Presents Lost 45's Of The '70s and '80s" and one of the best. It's a very melancholy song that sounds a lot like "Nobody Does It Better" by Carly Simon, but with a different message. I only wish I had heard the song before I went back and made personal charts from the 1970s about five years back. It would have definitely gone to number one.

...when I was trying to find it, several years ago, I rented the movie "The Champ" because it was supposed to be from there, but if it was, I never heard it......

Oh Yeah I love this too, Chris Thompson was the vocalist for Manfred Mann during their big hits era. The track is actually credited to the band Night I think, which had another good song that Quaterflash ripped off a few years later with "Hot Summer Nights."

I listened to that clip, you've got to hear the whole song in order to give it justice. That didn't get the whole feeling for the song, IMHO, this was a very well produced song and very well sung song. It's too bad Night & Chris Thompson didn't get more promotion from the then new Planet Records, or they would've gone even farther.

I still like this one many years later. Chris Thompson's vocal on this one is great.

I thought maybe that was a rare musical performance on TV instead of someone's homemade clip
