This was a big shift in direction for the Eurythmics following their earlier icy electronic sound. It hit the top 5 in the USA, and is a brilliant uptempo rocker.

I loved this one!
Annie Lennox sounded so fierce on this song. She can do any genre of music!

I would consider this to be a bit better than "Sweet Dreams" simply because that one can get tiring if heard too often.[/font]

I remember hearing this when it came out and thinking Annie sounded like a black woman.
Great vocal on this one!

The release of their greatest hits has reminded me how many AMAZING songs the Eurythmics had.... this was one of them.

For a long time it didn't hit for me as a full track, but eventually I came around. Definite shift from their prior material, but it was key in their endurance after the other acts that broke through around the same time started to fall off.

They had several highlights on their previous albums, but this era was a major turning point for them artistically. Stewart's production had never been better and they finally learned how to write an album full of actual songs (as opposed to the loose song sketches that plagued their previous albums). This song goes so hard, her vocal kills and it's so catchy. Career highlight.
