I just found an mp3 of this when doing a random for the hell of it search and found it! This brings back memories, it was a big worldwide hit I think, but flopped in the US in its release in 1976 or so.
I never forgot the band because they acheived some type of radio success in the New York rock radio market with "I Have The Skill" and "No Turning Back," great sounding singles which kinda sound like "Duke" and "Abacab" sounding Genesis, and also came out at the same time. Which means, they sound like Genesis before Phil Collins ruined them with those shitty ballads of his, and after Peter Gabriel left. But this isn't a Genesis thread.
So does anyone remember the thread starter or the Sherbs songs? If you're curious, I would be happy to send mp3s of the tracks I mentioned to anyone interested. Just leave me a PM and I would be happy to oblige.

I coulda put this in original but what the hey, Sherbs also had a great song called "We Ride Tonight" which was on their EP which was release in the US in 1982. This was a sizable rock radio hit here in NY.
The lead vocalist, Daryl Braithwaite (not sure of sp.) had a really good solo album which came out in mid 80s, that I have on vinyl and havent listened to in years. And IIRC, he also had a solo chart single that made the Hot100 pop chart in early 90s, which I couldn't name if my mothers life depended on it. (sorry moms)

(sorry moms) "Higher Than Hope," if I remember correctly.

The tune reached #61 on the Hot 100 in 1976 same position as their other chart hit in 1981 "I Have The Skill".
