I was listening to the Pet Shop Boys best hits today, and played this song several times. I feel it may have been a much bigger hit had it been released instead of "Love Comes Quickly." I like both songs, but I like Suburbia a lot more. The tune is really catchy. I think I only heard the song twice when it was popular, but remembered it being an instantly likeable tune. At any rate, it deserved a lot better than a number 70 peak.

This was kind of a boring song. I was just talking to one of my friends to day about the PSB CD "The Singles Collection", and I told him that "Love Comes Quickly" was one of the best songs on there and deserved better, as the Pet Shop Boys also voiced as being their favourite.

Happy birthday, Chris Lowe! In breaking out some Pet Shop Boys, I find that "Suburbia" is a single I never gave due appreciation. It's odd, because most of their classic and modern singles have been pretty instantaneous for me, but this one I'm rediscovering after not giving much attention at all. Great song! I like this record quite a bit as well. Yeah I ignored it as well when it was hot in the UK and Europe. I never actually listened to the song until the late 1990s.

Great Pet Shop Boys song. It hit number 70 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Despite not becoming a hit in the US, it was a #8 hit in the UK.
I like it. If not in my Top 10 PSB songs, perhaps right outside.
