This song didn't end up becoming a US hit, but it was well known in 1998 after its inclusion on the soundtrack to the smash teen horror 'I Know What You Did Last Summer'. It also peaked at #2 in the UK.
I like this song. Kula Shaker got incredibly over hyped, and they fizzled out almost as quickly as they arrived, but this and Govinda were good tunes.

Strange you didn't refer this is a cover of a classic and very well known Deep Purple song. Actually, a Deep Purple song from 1968, when they still weren't quite the heavy metal gods they're known for these days. As for Kula Shaker, it's no surprise their career fizzled so fast as it has. They were literally thrown to people's throats by the British weekly music press back then, and the music wasn't all that in the first place. Besides, Crispian Mills was just like the Gallagher brothers, but in a please-i'm-desperately-trying-to-make-you-take-me-seriously way.
