Lately, I've been downloading songs from the 70's, 80's and 90's that I never knew when they were released, because they are so obscure, they didn't perform well on the chart. I look through my Billboard book, year by year, and download one hit wonders, or songs by artists that I like, but the particular hit bombed. I've come across some real gems. These include:
"Island Of Lost Souls" - Blondie (Excellent song) "Alien" - Atlanta Rhythm Secton (Excellent song) "The Bomb (These Sounds Fall Into My Mind)" - The Bucketheads "Bad Boy" - Ray Parker Jr. "Hanging On A String" - Loose Ends "Route 101" - Herb Alpert "Eye To Eye" - Go West "Body Rock" - Maria Vidal "Murphy's Law" - Cheri "So You Win Again" - Hot Chocolate

I did not hear that Go West song until I bought the Greatest Hits collection. "Body Rock" was a huge hit in the UK, my junior high school peers used to spin this alot 20 years ago. Cool song. And good choices! I will post mine later.
