Classic 1980s pop song, in my opinion. The beat on is incredible and the guitar riff is really on-point. I can't say that these guys were really all that talented, but everything definitely came together for this record.
One of a couple good songs they had.

A few good songs? You're nuts!
INXS were awesome with Michael Hutchence.
One of my favorite bands. This was a #1 smash for them. Classic!

It might be my favorite by them. The guitar riff is a classic. I like all 7 of their Top 10 pop hits. I think my second favorite would be "Suicide Blonde".

Excellent song. I like when stations play it into "Mediate".

This track is awesome....probably my favorite INXS song. The entire album, "Kick", is great.

I love it. Ended up at #2 on Billboard's 1988 yearend chart (behind George Michael's "Faith").

I love it. Ended up at #2 on Billboard's 1988 yearend chart (behind George Michael's "Faith"). Very disappointing top two, I must say! Those were two of the worst songs of 1988, IMO. R&R's Top 40 of the year was much better, seeing that INXS wasn't even in the Top Five (don't even think it made the Top Ten) and George Michael was way down the shaft (since the fact that much of its chart run was in 1987 affected its ranking on the R&R chart). That chart had "Get Outta My Dreams" by Billy Ocean at number one, "Roll With It" by Steve Winwood at number two, and "One More Try" by George Michael at number three. That's more like it! :)

Definitely one of the Top 20 songs of the 1980s. It is very familiar to a lot of people, and if this group wasn't "1980's", I don't know what was. I remember the awkward video which at the time was very "cool". INXS was a talented group as well, and was a Gold favorite to the Alternative format until the late 90's, and was much well deserved.

This is the only song by an Austrailian to ever make the Billboard R&B charts peaking at number 73. This is still a brilliant song to this day. Wa Wa Nee came close with "Sugar Free" that same year.

My favorite of their's, next to "New Sensation." I agree about the guitar riffs, very classic that I'd recognize them anywhere.

I used to have a copy of Kick and have no idea what happened to it or why I didn't burn it onto my computer, ugh. Anyways...great song, but not my overall fav. INXS song.

An undeniable riff. It's not quite my favourite by them though.

I might like Don't Change, Original Sin, Disappear, and Not Enough Time about on par with this, but this one may still be the finest of the bunch.
Kick was pretty good even though I get more out of their singles than albums.

Classic, I hear this quite often. INXS has a good amount of strong material in the catalog.
