I really didn't like most the crappy records that Cash Money released in the late-1990s. But, for some reason, this 1999 record from Juvenile was my jam! It was his follow-up to "Back That Azz Up" and was a much more mid-tempo song that relied on clever rhymes and a cooled out instrumental, rather than a gimmick and a bangin' beat. Not surprisngly, the track (the lead single off Tha G-Code album), didn't perfrom as well (Hot 100: #83, R&B/Hip-Hop: #27). It wasn't as radio-friendly, but still pretty good nonetheless. The single/video version of this song actually kinda sucks because they had to recut the vocals to get a version clean enough to broadcast. Here's the video.
