Any fans? I know she doesn't have the most steller vocals but I really dug a lot of her songs...
Straight Up, Cold Hearted, Rush Rush, My Love Is For Real, Crazy Cool ... would be some of my favorites.
I wonder if she will ever release a new album? With the success of American Idol you'd think she would have capitalized on that.

My favorite Paula Abdul song is the radio remix of "Knocked Out".

"Straight Up" reminds me of Universal Studios... because that is where I first heard it.

I liked most of her music. I used to like "Straight Up", but it got ridiculously overplayed.

i really enjoyed paula even up to her last cd. she was just way overplayed during the forever your girl and spellbound era. she did have a lot of quality singles my favorite i think would have to be cold hearted or maybe rush rush. the latter took the top postion on my year end chart in 1991.

She's like so many great entertainers out there (Janet, Britney, Madonna, etc)...not the greatest voice at all, but some amazing songs, and she had the charisma to back up being a celebrity.
Her songs were awesome, pop classics IMO.

I want her "Greatest Hits" album. Either that or "Forever Your Girl." She was my sister's first favorite singer. She even named our turtles "Paula" and "Jordan"! (Paula Abdul and Jordan Knight! haha lol )

I bought "Cold Hearted", which was a ripoff of a hit earlier that year by Pebbles, "Girlfriend", both in music and in words. Another good one was "Blowing Kisses in the Wind", but my favorite was "My Love Is for Real"

I saw a special on her this weekend. I think it was on VH-1 and it was pretty good. I didn't know she was dropped by her label though. Hollywood is a hurtful industry.

I want her "Greatest Hits" album. Either that or "Forever Your Girl." I got it earlier this month. Very good. Her VH1 special made me want to buy "Spellbound," so I'll probably be getting that soon.

She's been in the news a lot lately. One, for drinking, and another for saying that she was harrassed and thrown against a wall.
