I still remember thinking this was a really unique record when it came out back in 2000. Jazzy/ragtime instrumentals and vbluesy ocals over a thugged out beat. I actually heard it quite a bit on UK R&B radio.
Unfortunately, it flopped when it was released in the U.S. a year later. Lina has a unique sound (neo-soul with a 1920s flavor) that yielded a few good singles, but never really worked out commercially.
