"Between The Sheets" hit #3 Black Singles.
I love it. No male R&B group can do ballads like the Isleys. However, my favorite either goes to "Choosey Lover" or "Smooth Sailin Tonight".

I think it is overplayed and they have so many other ballads that are better (in my opinion)....
"Make Me Say It Again, Girl"
"For The Love Of You"
"Groove With You"
"Hello, It's Me"
"Don't Say Goodnight, It's Time For Love"
"Smooth Sailin' Tonight"
"Spend The Night"
"Choosey Lover"
"Between The Sheets" is good, it just seems that it gets the most airplay, and lot of their other great ballads don't.

One only one of the Isley Brothers' best songs but also one of the best R&B/slow jams of the 1980s. I heard this song on V103 and WGCI during their late night "Quiet Storm" hours when I was younger. surprising this never made the Hot 100 . it is one of their most known songs and heavily sampled . they have reached the Hot 100 with 41 songs.
