Maybe not really Nostalgia board material. And for a good reason. This song was the supposed lead single from their also supposed follow-up to Home, the album which included the song that turned them into one-hit wonders, "Breakfast At Tiffanny's". Thing is Byzantium - the afforementioned supposed follow-up - never got released in the US due to legal complications with Interscope, and its European release was low-key, to say the least. Many of the tracks from this release eventually resurfaced on their independently released 2001 US-only self-titled album. But, for some strange reason, not this one. And it's a shame, since it showed the actual true colors of DBS's sound, which is very influenced by the big, spacey sounds of 80s bands such as Psychedelic Furs, Alarm or Simple Minds, with the occasional A-ha-minded pop hook thrown in for good measure.
If you've curious about this, there's always a private board conversation to be held... ;)
