This is one of my favorites from the short-lived Rock 40 era of the 1989-90 period... I believe this peaked somewhere in the mid 50's on the charts... great song... anyone else here remember it???

Yes!!!! They were signed to Chrysalis whe my friend worked there and he gave me the cd single and eventual album. The album was terrible, this song is incredibly catchy.
There was a track on the album about how they were walking around Times Square making noise or some such line, and I remember thinking how that wasn't very likely that Norwegian guys (not sure where they were from actually) were going to be hitting that area at all hours of the night back then because, frankly it wasn't a safe area. So other than the credibility factor, great song.

I like it. It's the only song of theirs to chart on the Hot 100 and it peaked at #46.

I like this , surprisingly this didn't even make the mainstream rock chart at billboard . Was there no format that played hard rock tunes back then?

Mainstream rock was kind of fading out at this stage of the game and CHR had gone heavily to the Urban side in several major markets... the Rock 40 stations such as "Pirate Radio" KQLZ in L.A. filled the hole and helped get CHR kind of back on track for a bit... then we went into that horrible period between 1992-1995 when CHR got really really weird...
