This one is way out of left field... I doubt few remember it, but it did chart on the Hot 100... a very quirky and odd song.... anyways, got nostalgic and played it the other day... KEZY 95.9 in L.A. played this when it was a CHR (before becoming KFSH "the fish")... and it actually did Ok there... I think this stalled in the 60s or 70s on the charts...

Amazingly, this actually made it to #46 on the Hot 100. Got lots of play at Power 99 in Atlanta (I ended up buying the CD from a cut-out bin a couple years later).
I wish that this had made the pop Top 40, so we could've once again heard Casey speak the immortal words, "This is ponderous, man! F**kin' ponderous!" ;)

F**kin' ponderous!" ;) Never thought the day would come that I heard Casey even say the things he said. Didn't think he was capable to do such a thing. Anyhow, I was thinking about making a post to this song, but never got around to it. No station in my area played it, but wished somebody did. It was cool because it was odd. 2NU did have a follow-up called "Spaz Attack" (I probably didn't spell it right) that did get a little more attention.

This is a'ight in moderation, but, in my case at least, it only retains its novelty if played infrequently.
