One of my favorite songs released in 2002. Fantastic song with an equally fantastic vocal delivery by the under rated Angie Stone. I have no idea how this one did in the US (must had been a hit at Urban and Urban AC) but it hit top 30 in the UK.

Amazing, killer song. The HQ2 Club Mix and HQ2 Vibe Mix both took the song to another level. It was a club smash.

I remember liking it alot, yes it has a haunting quality to it
I didn't LOVE it to death, but it's a great song.

I love it. Unfortunately, I didn't hear it until after it was long and gone from the chart, or else it would have been a hit on my chart.

I love this song. However it is the only song of hers that I have heard that I liked.

I love the Hex Hector remix, which got the song to #8 on my chart. Absolutely relentless, a great late night track with an excellent vocal.

I liked it as well, it made my top ten. It took me awhile to find the radio version, which I prefer.

I liked this.
It sampled the O'Jays 1972 hit "Back Stabbers".

It's amazing that "Back Stabbers" is 40 years old and hardly sounds dated. My absolute fave from Angie.

For me, the best part of this song was Andrea Martin's backup vocals and the fact that she co-wrote it. It just feels like an Andrea Martin song, the way Angie sings it.
Hex delivered a very solid batch of mixes, but I heard this song way too much in the clubs. It was the holy grail for about a year to some people.

Gorgeous. The dance mix is almost as good too. This went top 10 in Australia too!

I loved both the original and the 2 different Hex Hector remixes. I prefer the Vibe mix as the classic, organic sound of it meshes better with Angie's soulful vocals.
