Wow…what a beautiful record. IMO, this is one of Trisha’s best studio vocal performances. When I listen to this song, I think of the “perfect record” because I don’t think they could have done it any better. Diane Warren’s lyrics are amazing…I don’t think it has ever been said like this before. It’s one of my absolute favorites from her catalog. There is also another version of the song out there by the great Patti Labelle and produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. It is fabulous! :)

A Diane song I actually like! Probably more for the beautiful vocal performance that you mentioned by Trisha.
Peaked at #9 or #10 on the country chart, and I thought it deserved better.

Trisha is a flawless emoter. This song is an amazing testament to her vocals. One of my favorites by her. Also one of the last Diane songs I can really say I liked.
