I miss those days when Spice Girls were so popular. They really had very very good songs and I love every song on their first and second album.

I think this calls for one of these...
B-range Say You'll Be There Holler (guilty pleasure) Stop
C-range Too Much
D-range Wannabe Spice Up Your Life
F-range Goodbye (pure cheez and she didn't deserve a goodbye anthem) Two Become One

This is easily there worst song IMO. Completely annoying, and it's a shame it was their biggest hit.
Anyways, my fav Spice songs are:
1) 2 Become 1 2) Say You'll Be There 3) Too Much 4) Spice Up Your Life 5) Holler
My favorite Spice? I always liked Ginger and Baby.

1) Viva Forever 2) Goodbye 3) 2 Become 1 4) Mama 5) Too Much
Their ballads were phenomenal.

I liked this song so much then that I bought the Spice album - on cassette!
I still have it, and I still like this song.

One of the sororities at Hofstra made a song or part of a song based on "Wannabe."

I can't believe the Girls only had one #1 hit here. I was under the impression they had like four #1s in the US - the ONE HOUR OF GIRL POWER documentary says so!

This sogn brings back lots of memories of being in my cousins basement and pretending to be "sporty spice" cause that was the closest-to-a-boy Spice Girl there was...I was the only boy in the clan. I was dancing to this last night as a matter of fact! :) .............jesus christ I need to come out.

I loved this song a lot! Back when I was in middle school, some girls in my class wanted to do a dance routine to this song for a talent show. They would practice during recess and they would play the song over and over and over and over. I used to like the song then, but then I began to hate it from the overplaying. Then I took a break from it and now I love it. The Motiv8 remixes from the UK single are FUCKING HOT! This sogn brings back lots of memories of being in my cousins basement and pretending to be "sporty spice" cause that was the closest-to-a-boy Spice Girl there was...I was the only boy in the clan. -dead-

This is a classic. I even like it now in 2009. Anyways, all their singles after this one suck so much. I never liked them after Wannabe.

I wanted to hate this because it sounded so hideous, but never could. Still inferior to songs like "Say You'll Be There" though.

It is so cheesy and catchy. I liked the chorus and the raps. I was unaware of this song until I heard it in the Excess Baggage (Alicia Silverstone movie) trailer.

I dont know. I know the SG are known as cheesy, but i still think they overall had better structure than most pop songs today. IMHO Even SOME of solo-Spices solo work has pretty good songwriting. (mainly emma and mel c). But again just my opinion.
So, yes i still love it!

THE SONG THAT GOT ME INTO POP MUSIC I loved this from the second I first heard this back in 1997 and from then on I was OBSESSED with the Spice Girls. I don't think there is any other musical act who has defined my childhood as much as they have. Still one of my all-time favorite songs to this day.

They have better songs, but this is still one of my faves. I remember hearing it all the time when I was like 5 years old.
