Who sings All Cried Out?
SWV or Alllure? Or Allure f/112?
_or_ did SWV sing it first and Allue(f/112) covered it???
Or did Alllure sing it first and SWV covered it?
How did the song do on pop/R&B radio?

Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam with Full Force (featuring Paul Anthony and Bowlegged Lou) did the original back in the autumn of 1986. It peaked at number eight on Billboard and number nine on R&R.

There's also a version of this song by dance artists Denine and Collage that was popular on Q102 in the mid-late-90's, before the Allure/112 version came out. Surprisingly the version Q played was a ballad, not a dance version.

My favorite version is the Allure version because the vocals are better although I definitely prefer Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam as an artist.

I like all three versions (Lisa Lisa, Denine, and Allure). Of all of them, I think I prefer Denine and Collage. It was the first version of this song that I ever heard, so that might have something to do with it.

The remake of "All Cried Out" by Allure and 112 got to #4 in 1998 four notches higher than the original version by Lisa-Lisa And Cult Jam twelve years earlier

That said, I prefer Allure's version.
