Almost the first song to go to #1 3 times. Little Eva took it to #1 in '62, then Grand Funk in '75, and Kylie Minogue (#3 in '88). The orignial version was the demo made by Little Eva intended for Dee Dee Sharp. Has one of the most recognizable drum openings of any song ever. Written by none other than my girl, Carole King and Gerry Goffin. Although I thought some of thier other stuff should have been ahead of this on the RS 500 Songs of All-Time List. Nonetheless, a classic.

Urgh, i'm only majorly familiar with Kylie's version but i HATE this. Really, really irritating. Its my least favourite of her singles.

Little Eva's is a classic. First heard it when I was 8 and loved it ever since. Grand Funk's version is good, albeit a little odd for a rock group. Kylie's is a cheesefest, but I can't help but like it.

I never liked Kylie's version at all, especially when she goes, "Do the loc, do the loc, do the loco-loco-motion" The other two are OK, but nothing I'd go out of my way to listen to.

I like both the original and the Grand Funk.

I have always loved Little Eva's original version. It's just one of those fun little feel-good songs that always sound great.
Kylie's version is fine, but it's all about Eva's.
