The Stylistics original 1971 version of this song is no doubt a soul classic. But I'm a bigger fan of Diana Ross and Marvin Gaye's 1974 cover! Marvin roars through his vocals on the duet version and Diana's voice is crisp and clear as always. It's a great pairing -- both of them were at relative high points in their career when this came out. The song was a big UK hit, but it wasn't even released in North America. Go figure. Their duet album is pretty solid. Check it out, if you're a fan of either artist. UK: #5 US Hot 100: -

This was a nice duet. Some really nice tracks on that duet album.
