What an urban smash coming from Canada! Who would've thunk?
I was going through all the songs in my old computer to put in my new Sony mp3 player and came across the bonafide jam "Frontin' On Me" by Velvet Empire. It's getting heavy rotation in my mp3 player now, making up for lost time.
I would've never heard it if not for geoguy's banner and payolaing on PeopleBase.
What happened to Velvet Empire? Did they ever follow-up the song?
It has so much attitude: Stop frontin' on me, you're buggin' me You better wake up, make up, get ready for a shake up, I just want some honesty from you, (boy). :)

LOL...I loved this song. I forgot how it goes. Thanks reception for the link. :o Just listened to it...and now that I think about it, I think I only started payola-ing it because my Canadian friend was obsessed with it, even though I thought it was horrible. Plus, all of R&R's comments on the song made for some funny PB banners. But I guess it grew on me. I remember JAMMIN' to this.

The video was really funny because the girls were just flipping their hair... And one of the guys was trying to be a DJ or something?
