Who is this chick and what happened to her? The only reason I found this in my downloads folder is because I was looking for the Katie Cassidy "I think I love you" geoguy sent me.
It just so happened he also sent me this Tina Novak track! The only thing I learned about her was she sounded like Angela Via and "Been Around The World" had longevity (on sales or airplay, I'm not sure).
I'm listening to the song now. Not bad at all and I can hear echoes of Via in her except Novak sounds older.

Good song! I still don't know who she is and what happened to her. Was it all a conspiracy?
Apparently her album was released in Japan.

I remembered downloading that song last year and it wasn't all too bad. Another thing I'm trying to find out is this: has this song ever been charted here in the states or was it a hit worldwide? I remembered putting that song in rotation at KNET in Palestine, TX in medium rotation. I wonder why urban, and the rhythmics never paid much attention to this song?

It's not terrible. It's kind of boring though.

I remember this! Nothing special. It's always played in those commercials for compilation albums.

Tina Novak has most recently made waves with her collaboration with Ray Roc on the "Never" album. She's recorded a version of the 2003 dance smash "Never" (but the version that topped the Dance Radio and Club charts was with Tina Arena), and has scored a hit last spring/early summer with "Deja Vu (It's Hard To Believe)", which topped the Dance Radio Airplay and ranked at #10 for the year on WKTU.
