I know I posted a thread about this song here or at R&R boards with minimal response because it's not a major song in the annals of music history. (or maybe it's because I've only read like 5 books in my life so people don't take me seriously) anyhoooo, now that i've learned what a great toy yousendit is, I'm gonna add links to these songs that I think fell by the wayside and hope a couple of you listen and say "wow! this guy's right" or maybe you'll say "oh great, just what we need, more snow." anyway, this is my #4 all time favorite track, after "Private Investigations," "Telegraph Road," both by Dire Straits, and "If You Were Here Tonight" by Alexander O'Neal. If you give this a listen, and I'm calling on some of the vets here like Irock, Classic Case, Ulij, Aaron, Reception, that may be open to good hard edged late 70s rock, to give this a shot. I can only compare this to a British sounding Bruce Springsteen song, altho I used that term to describe Dire Straits Making Movies album, and this sounds nothing like that. By the time this album, Tenement Steps, came out, Bram Tsckaivsky (spelling is wrong i think) left the band, and had a great tune called "Girl Of My Dreams" which is also worth seeking out, and one day I will post that in u send it. Please give this tune 5 minutes, especially the fiery ending with the drumming and the cries of "Love & Loneliness." Sheer brilliance IMHO s34.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0TITTN3W7S5XQ21O7YP5U2UZ4E

Peaked at #78 on the Hot 100 in 1980.
Never heard this until now, thanks for posting. It's pretty good. :)
