This is another tv actress turned singer, but it didnt quite work out for her. I really liked this song and i was surprised it flopped. It fit into the rest of the generic pop that was booming at the time. Where did this chart?

I loved this. Please refer to her as Jamie-Lynn DiScala from now on. She uses her husband's surname in all aspects of her life now. Thank you. This was a great song about abstinence and had a memorable music video directed by Nigel Dick. I suggest everybody get a copy of her autobiography "Wisegirl". Request your library to get it too! She talks a bit about how she wasn't ready to record her album and allowed others to push her around (she didn't want to take a pic in a bikini for her album). She was signed to the now defunct label EDEL America -- Jo Davidson was also on the roster. She went in the studio whenever she had free time and the process just didn't work out well. In the end, she said her album had a lot of good songs but anybody could've sung them. She's more of a ballad-er. She was "discovered" as a singer when she sang a bit of TLC's "Waterfalls" for an episode of "The Sopranos"! "You Are My Heart (Tu Eres)" was the follow-up. That was a nice pop single too.

Z100 added this! Yet the frickin' country couldn't. Not fair. >:( I loved this song. The video was so cool too. It was one of my favorite underrated songs of all time. The track was very poppy, it's unfortunate why it didn't become successful.

There was a good remix that got pushed in the UK. It still only got to #41.

Wasn't Jennifer Paige too? She had a hit. Did she have one in 2001 with her comeback album? Exactly. Poor Jamie-Lynn! I thought this song was horribly boring when it was released, but today, I like it. I also like "Bada Bing" (copied by B2K?) and "Tu Eres."

Wasn't Jennifer Paige too? I know her second album "Positively Somewhere" was released under Hollywood Records.

The dance mix of this sond was played several times a day on Party 92.7 (RIP) in San Francisco. Then I found out that this is the same Jamie-Lynn Sigler that's on television. This was a Britney Spears-style song, and it was obvious she was copying her. I kinda liked it.

I had almost completely forgot about this song until it popped up on a mix-cd.
This was a great pop gem, too bad it didn't do anything on radio considering the time it was released (9/11).
