This is my favorite Miki song plus one of my favorite R&B songs. I dont know why her name doesnt exist anymore. There were alot of power houses back then but it seems like Mariah and Whitney are the only two remebered, I guess because of their fame. None the less Miki can sang and this song is nice.

This is a great well-produced song, though "Ain't Nobody Like You" is my favorite by her.
You're right: There were many female R&B singers back then who could probably hold their own with Mariah or Whitney. But most of them had a more soulful sound with less mass appeal... A few come to mind right off the top of my head: Angela Winbush, Stephanie Mills, Miki, Lisa Fischer, Skyy

The Kurt Carr Singers, a gospel group, remade this song back in the 90s. I had no idea it was an R&B tune at the time.
