#80 Hot 100 #1 UK in 1988
This folky 50s styled pop song rose quickly to the top of the charts in the UK. Unfortunately for the short-lived it was their only huge hit although, "Find My Love", their immediate follow-up gave them a top 7 hit in the UK, with zero follow-ups in the US. I should replay this and add to my currents! I thought the song here in the US was absolutely underated.

Fairground Attraction were two-hit wonders in the UK. "Perfect" went to #1 in the spring of 1988. I love this song. It's in the skiffle folk style, and it's so simple and beautiful. Excellent vocal performance. www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHAhaR7WNkY

Yeah, how can I forget? Oh, man, this was excatly 20 years ago. During the summer this was always on the telly. And then during the first week of my freshman year in high school, "Find My Love" was already in the top ten also. All this happened in England in 1988. Good music and lots of bad times!

Pretty song. She has a lovely voice and uses it to great effect on the album.
