This song dropped into my mind the other day and I thought that I would put this post in. This is one of their best songs although it went to #19 in Billboard pop and in the Top 10 R&B. Then later, Daryl Hall & John Oates covered this tune back in 88 or 89. To me it's really soulful in a way. But it does have its moments.

I finally heard this song on AT40 October 1972, this is in fact soulful.
