This ends the trilogy of songs that I'm making topics of simultaneously. This one was the first single from the second album, King James Version, far superior to their first album. I love everything about this song. Without being very throwback, the intro organ solo is reminiscent of some 60s stuff. The chorus is one that you'll get stuck in your head, and like most HD songs it was a satire.
My favorite line is probably "the Marlboro Man died of cancer/and he wasn't a rocket scientist when he was healthy".

I don't remember this song but "Flagpole Sitta" was one of my favorites from 1998.

This is probably one of my favorite singles of the last 10 years. I think it was (unfairly) dismissed as an attempt to rewrite Flagpole Sitta, which is ludicrous. It's superior in every way!
