I was listening to this song on the way home from work tonight. What a great return for Earth, Wind & Fire. After a bunch of flop hits, this one cracked the Top 20 for them. (Only number 53 Billboard however.) It was their final appearance on the charts.

This is a GREAT SONG, but it's not the last time EWF has charted. They had singles with "All In The Way" and "Hold Me" last year. They had a couple of singles on the IN THE NAME OF LOVE CD, which came out in 1997, including "Revolution" and the title track. I also want to say that "Spend The Night" from the MILLENNIUM CD charted as well. I don't think any of them equalled "Sunday Morning's" success though.
They can still get it done though (even though Maurice is not touring with them due to Parkinson's). I saw them with Chicago a couple of months ago, and they were incredible. Hands down my favorite group of all time.

It's an okay song. It debuted at #39 on the Rick Dees Weekly Top 40. (9/4/93 show)

It was kind of plain. I liked "Sunday Morning" by no Doubt much better.

There aren't too many EWF songs that aren't good. This one is no exception. Not my favorite of theirs, but good nonetheless.

I still love this. It's like joy on CD, or something.

This was a great song because it was an Earth Wind and Fire song. It was their signiture sound. They made a nice return back to their roots of what made them successful from the get go. I'd say one of their most disappointing albums critically was their 1988 release that included their #1 dance/disco record "Thinking Of You".

Released in 1993 as the lead single from their Millennium album. Peaked at #53 on the Hot 100 and #20 Hot R&B Singles. This was also their final song to chart at CHR/Pop.
Love it. Hands down my favorite 90s track by them.
