This is the best song they've ever done IMO. Awesome, awesome track. The video is s**t though. Don't think this even charted in America, they faded out kinda fast there. A shame because their later material contains some real gems, especially this.

This song is great! I was disappointed that it didn't do anything in the States (although it did make my pop station's daily top 9 request show a couple of nights when it was out).
I especially like the "Swing Version" of the song that appears on the "Can You Forgive Her?" single (it's a version of the song that is backed up by horns and percussion instead of the synths). It's different, but it's cool. :)

It's amusing, but not amazing. Like it a lot. The Very album is quite strong overall.

It reached #1 on Dance Club Play, #10 on Modern Rock Tracks ( :( ) and #7 in the UK. I still really like it.

I am a PSB fan, so I still like this, too! The videos of the Very era were all very computer/videogame-based. Seen with today's eyes they are a bit meh, but at that time they were visually quite interesting. An interesting detail is that, back home in Peru, one of the 2 modern-rock stations played this song a lot, but only the Rollo Remix version. So for at least a couple of years I thought the song was all dancey and not Poppy. I mean, at that time it was still common to have Remixes that were extensions of, or very similar to, the original versions. I loved the Remix anyway :) It reached #2 in my personal chart for a couple of weeks

great, fun tune. This album (Very) and their next (Bilinqual) were great albums. So many good tunes on each

This used to be one of my favorites by them but I like it less with time. The Very aesthetic though lol

There are a number of singles from them that I solidly prefer over this, but I do like it. I think Liberation might be my personal favorite single from this album. They peaked with Behaviour for me personally, but I do agree that Very and Bilingual were good as well. And I agree with Juanca about the videos. They haven't really aged well, but for the time the visuals from this campaign were a standout, and something that hadn't really been seen prior. It also was rather on the 90s irony stance (although PSB had that as a calling card from the start) not too dissimilar from what U2 was exploring during the same period.
