Not the fresh-faced RnB trio, rather this lovely lady:
Best known for his movie career collaborating with John Waters, Divine had a string of campy club hits in the 80's. This track, produced by Kylie Minogue & Rick Astley's writing/production team, became a genuine hit. It is, quite possibly, the campest thing ever put to music. It never charted in America, but it got as high as #17 in the UK. He even did some TV performances of it, sparking numerous complaints about the dubious taste and decency of a 350lb drag queen performing on national TV in a worryingly revealing dress.....
I'm afraid I love it. It's much fun. File under 'guilty pleasure'.
