Well, I just went to the chart archive site ( www2.uta.edu/hunt/charts/chart.html) to figure out where Collective Soul's "Gel" peaked for that topic, and I noticed that the front page said that the Jayhawks "Blue" was the first ever #50 song on R&R. This, to me, was shocking, as I thought the Jayhawks were relatively obscure, only getting play on AAA. I can't believe this song was a top 50 hit! It only got to #49, but the idea of any CHR playing this is amazing to me. Anyway, I think this is an excellent song. I'm not a huge fan of alt-country, but this song sticks out to me as incredibly sad and passionate. It's only in the last couple years that I've discovered this song, thanks to Philly's AAA, 88.5 XPN.

I forgot all about this song. I really like this song.
Don't like anything else I've heard by them

This one wasn't bad. It's too bad that the Thorns had to completely ruin it.

McDonald's used to play this A LOT. Didn't know it was that big at all on CHR, only thought they were New and Active in 1993 or so with "Take Me With You".
