#1 R&B (Billboard) #22 Pop (Billboard)
It's a catchy song especially with the lyrics being so simple and close to mindless. The first time that I heard this record was on the "Retro" radio show one weekend a long time ago in 1994. Then this year I actaully got a hold of this song and actually listened to it ever since like it's new. Do any of you remember this one, according to my resources it was also a huge club hit as well.

I honestly don't remember this song... I'll have to track it down and give it a listen.
My fave by Tavares is "It Only Takes A Minute".

I remember that song. There were a lot of TV name droppings in there. Some of which you were either too young to remember or just born during the Kojak era or something. There's a mention of short-lived TV show called Ellery Queen (based on best selling mystery novels), McCloud (Dennis Weaver in the role of the TV show in the early 70s), and others I cannot think of at this post. But it was a good song by them in 1977.

I don't really like it. The only Tavares song I really like is "It Only Takes A Minute".

Love it, as well as all their other hits.

Like it, but not NEARLY as much as their best songs "It Only Takes A Minute" and "Heaven Must Be Missing Angel".
