It's a song that I know I've heard in the past week (perhaps on the 6/6/87 AT40 show I listened to on Saturday). The phrase "Dignify the truth" stands out in my head right now. AT first I thought it was possibly "The Search Is Over" by Survivor", but I checked that song and there are no such lyrics. If someone knows what song the phrase "dignify the truth" comes from, please let me know.

Crap... it's right on the tip of my tongue. Unfortunately all my chart books are packed up at the moment so there's nothing I can look up to jar my memory. :(

Never mind, it just came to me. It's from "Forever Young" by Rod Stewart. Actually the lyrics are "And may you grow to be proud, dignified and true". And, come to think of it, I don't think I've heard the song in the past few weeks. Anyway, that's the song that the line is from.
