The lead singer of Tears for Fears, or rather Tears for Fears in its entirety for the previous two albums, used his real name for the 2001 album "Tomcats Screaming Outside." Overall the album wasn't bad -- there were a few lackluster tracks but the ones that were good were really good. This was the single & one of the really good ones, but sadly it didn't do much anywhere except at a few AAA stations. I'd describe it as "industrial new wave." The video kinda sucked but I still listen to the song all the time.

I'm amazed you've even seen the video! As far as I know, it was only available on his unreleased second single from the album. 'Low Life' was a cool song, and it was nice to see it get some play in the States. 'Bullets For Brains' is still my hands down favorite from that album though.

It was something about these boots that acted like dogs... creepy. What was the second single? Or were they Low Life Pts. I and II? Totally agreed on "Bullets For Brains"... it's the perfect song to listen to if you're ever walking through a Japanese cemetery on a rainy day (lol.) It sounds very futuristic. Kinda preachy, but it's all good 'coz it was supposed to be that way.

The second single was 'For The Love Of Cain', but it never got released in Europe or the UK due to lack of interest in Low Life. He sold a few copies on his website though, so that's where mine came from.
