I know that several of you have not even heard of this song. But this song was released in mid-spring of 1984. A near chart-topper in some markets top 15 somewhere else. I have dug this old song out in one of my lost tracks and listened to it for the first time in four years.
I'm quite sure that some of you remembered this old song can rack up some memories of it. If you were born in '84 (like my nephew who is studying computers at Prairie View A&M), this is new to you. I'll have a link of this song later.

This was his best song as a performer. I finally heard that song a few months later, but did not comment for some reason. I think I have this on mp3 somewhere. I did not remember this when it was out back in 1984 and I love 1984 for all the Kashifs, The Times, Ashford & Simpsons, Chaka Khans, that kind of thing.
He produced stuff for Vesta Williams, Bart Simpson ("The Bartman"), Shanice Wilson, and Stacey & Kimiko ("Wait For Me"). Excellent songwriter and producer!

I like it. Peaked at #24 R&B in the spring of 1984.
