I'm listening to Joyride as I have to work today, and forgot how great this album is. Why didn't it get more attention?
Great rock album.

I have the "February Son" album and overall I'm not sure I'd call them underrated -- while "I Walk Alone" and "Why I'm Here" are gems, the rest of the album is pretty much crap. The singles I've heard from "Joyride" haven't been much better than the rest of FS IMO.

"I Walk Alone" is great. "Why I'm Here" is decent.
I really don't know anything else by them

I really like the only song I ever heard by them, "Why I'm Here."

Why didn't it get more attention? It came out on an independent label after Republic dumped them, so that explains alot of it. "Benign" and "Halo", singles 2 and 3 from the "Unwind" album, were great, but with the 1st single "Are You There" tanking at Rock and Alt, that was all she wrote. I think they halfheartedly worked "Benign" to Hot AC...

I liked "Benign" somewhat, and "Why I'm Here" was really good for a post-grunge song. I'm shocked that that song made it onto a Now compilation.

Hands Off the Wheel was barely given a chance and it is a great song. I highly recommend checking this out to rock fans that haven't given this a listen.

I don't really care much for them, aside from "Are You There?"
"Why I'm Here" bored me while it was out, but after liking "AYT," when I listened to it, hearing the strings redeemed it somewhat.
"Hands Off the Wheel" was kind of interesting.
All their other singles I either don't care for or never got to hear.
