I think this has great potential. The repeating big harmonic choruses Ryan Tedder attempts here are one of the greatest elements in music for me. A catchy art form pleasing to listening ear which is what music's supposed to do IMO. It's something they do or used to do in AOR, a Pop Rock approach last seen in the 1980's when going by Pop culture timeline. I've been awaiting for that to pop up again somewhere for quite some time. Good music, I might just really like this.

Is the melody similar to Battlefield? It's similar to something but I can't put my finger on it. Love it anyhow.

The melody is different as it's a different song. I don't think that's similar either no.

couple of blogs claiming that Ryan Seacrest said on the AT40 that Leona;s first single from Echo is called "Happy" and will hit radio just after the Divas concert. Anyone hear the show to confirm? A memeber on Leona's official forum heard the repeat of the show and he has confirmed Ryan said :) He also mentioned that Ryan said Simon was gloating about it lol |

Not sure if this was already posted. Looks like they will launch the new single through Diva's. This year's "VH1 Divas" concertairing live Sept. 17 on VH1 — will honor five female singers.
