Walmart bonus track. Co-written with Daniel Beddingfield. A huge departure from the rest of the album, and I can understand why it's only a bonus track as a result. I can note some of David's musical influences here, most notably Jason Mraz and Stevie Wonder, and this track is officially my favourite off the album. I'm thinking this might be more of the sound of his future albums. Thoughts?

My favorite from him, period. Wish it was on the album.

I wasn't a big fan of the CD track (it was sort of retro R&B and jarring for some reason, especially right after Angels) but seeing David perform it so defiantly made me love it. It definitely seems autobiographical and an updated version of the story of his unreleased age 12(?) single "Don't Tell Me". The same not wanting anyone to tell him what to do, how to sing, etc. In Don't Tell Me he talks about finding his way up onto the stage where he belongs, where he'll do his thing. In Works for Me he is on the stage and telling the world that despite problems and indecision, what he did worked for him. Yeah I want to see him all sassy singing Works for Me again!
