This'll flop. She was always going to struggle with a third single as her album only has two hits on it. If I was her manager, I would have either re-released with a new single to lead it or bowed out of the 'OOTB era' after Hot 'N' Cold hit #1 and started next summer on a new album.  Thank god you're not her manager, then. |

Honestly, that would be the biggest most floppiest decision ever. Who would give up right after she had a huge #2 and #1 hit on pop? They should (and probably will) milk OOTB for every hit it's got!  |

I think the question that should be asked is - what will be the 4th single? I don't think there's anymore hit material on the album. 'TOY' is their best shot of another hit, so it's the perfect choice.

This won't cap out top 30. This will make top 20 and then stall. It will underperform, similar to 'Bye Bye.' If they're smart, they'll end the singles there and not try to make up for it and turn her into a two-hit wonder. They should've gone with a different song (OOTB and WUIV are good choices).

It's not the airplay that's gonna make this one flop, it'll be the disastrous digital sales. Who can actually see this insipid ballad cracking the itunes top 20? Look at how much the downloads of 'BIT' hindered Leona's chances of a second top 10; and that was a million times more stimulating than this.
Perry's like The Pussycat Dolls: only as good as her next single. And this is utter crap. It'll ruin her.
