Did this ever officially go for adds at country and/or AC radio? Is this getting any airplay? I'm curious whether country radio would ever play anything by Barry Manilow and whether AC would ever play anything by Reba McEntire.

I sure as heck hope not. Cowgirls don't cry, but they probably would if you forced them to sing this tripe.

I'd probably use a word closer to "crap".

Heaven forbid! Barry Manilow on country radio! I had enough that I had to hear him on the radio in the 1970's!
There was a bit of a stink when the original IITS was played on coutnry radio because Kenny's album at that time (Eyes That See In The Dark) was produced by the Bee Gees. (I guess the Bee Gees had nothing to do when disco finally died).
Anyway, I wish Reba would have had another single from her Duets albuem, either with LeAnn Rimes or Ronnie Dunn. BIG mistake Reba all around!

This did officially go to AC radio, though I'm not sure how much of a splash it made. As far as MPE shows, and as far as I know, it was never sent to country radio, though I wouldn't be surprised if a few PDs ran it for kicks.

I'm guessing with Rebas changing labels she is kinda getting ruined on radio with all these messy duets. I cant wait for her to come back with solo material. She owns.

After the whole Kenny/Skip fiasco, MCA was probably very leery about working with another label. And, with Reba leaving, promoting another single really wouldn't have been worth their while. But I do agree, there were 5-6 songs I would've like to see released. This one is OK, but I don't think it should go to country radio anytime soon.
