Much, much better than that dreadful 'Addicted'.
I'm still not really into them though.

I liked this song for a little while, but radio overplayed it and killed it for me.

Good timing on the push for adds, as that will be a week or two post-peak for Addicted. Addicted will see a lot of spins as a power recurrent, as will 18 Days as a current. In my opinion, 18 Days is the better record.

Well, there is an official video out, so I'll post it. It's much better than Addicted, but I'm still tired of it lol

Much, much better than that dreadful 'Addicted'. So of course it won't be as successful. I agree that this song is way better than 'Addicted.' I actually like this one!

Not convinced with this either, but at least not a garbage as Addicted... Hopefully other Rock acts can do better than this one

I havn't listened, but I imagine them going the same route as Soulja Boy referencing their previous song so ppl will know who they are...
"It's been 18 days since you missed your period...we're gonna have a kid...underneath the sheets...all the sounds it'll make after your water breaks...no more going down on me cuz I got a hoe..."

Um, I'm not a fan of these guys at all, but it's nothing like it. This is their "Lips of An Angel" like "Addicted" was their "Get Stoned." I really hate Hinder.

This will probably go top 20 since "Addicted" was such a huge hit on CHR/Pop.

Not necessarily. 'The Great Escape' was a Top Ten smash at Pop for Boys Like Girls, but the follow-ups both missed the Top 20. Pop is very fickle with these types of artists, so I'm not expecting anything over Top 25. I sure hope this goes Top 10, though, because it is much better than 'Addicted' IMO

Well, I hope NOT. Addicted was too bad for being a Top10. So, I hope they get punished with this song. Although it's better (given such a low standard, being better is not a great compliment) they shouldn't have had a Top20 at all, so I hope they net it with this one not going top20.

This band is horrid. Irony on how the worst bands get the most attention on CHR/Pop.

This sounds like a really weak 3 Doors Down song. Which I guess for them is a compliment.

Yeah, I think I'm just now getting what he really said too. I mean, I realized it was an ignorant statement but then I never thought about it again. What reason would he have to think that they'd go the Soulja Boy route? The only dance craze that Addicted ever caused was more than likely horizontal, but probably not even that. Either way, I hate both artists in question. But I would listen to this over Yahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh any day. Soulja Boy: "Yo A-rab, it's been 18 days since I did the Soulja Boy dance" A-Rab: "YAHHHH!!!! (trick?)" Popular music has gone downhill as a whole, but I still don't get where you thought they'd go that route, especially since they're much closer to Hinder (Loathe entirely, can't stand them at all). But what would you expect from an archie fan? lol Oh crap did I say that out loud? Kidding , so no one thinks that I'm attacking the guy. lol

This has got nothing going for it.
I like the genre, but this does not stand out at all.

I like David Archuleta and I've been enjoying Saving Abel's CD and I'd rather have this song in at #1 than half of what's been there this year. But what would you expect from an 18 years old kid? lol Oh crap did I say that out loud? Kiddin , so no one thinks that I'm attacking the guy. lol .... Seriously...

No I don't even like the song THAT much, it's very low to compare anything to Soulja Boy though

you would call an 18 year old a "kid"? Anyone that says that kind of BS to me is still far away from being an adult. Or at least what I would expect an adult to be. But let's talk about the song. He might've been joking for all I know. I just felt inspired to talk crap too myself somehow.

Wow...
Chill people, everything I said from the Archie comment down was a joke. Sorry to offend
Anyway, the point was that I don't get the analogy, and I really felt like exaggerating my point so there ya go.

^ My reason for comparing them is this.
They're both really shitty acts with really shitty debut singles. While I originally liked both songs for two weeks, that obviously didn't last. Soulja Boy has struggled to get another "hit" song since and yet almost all (actually, probably all) of his songs have either referenced or sampled his one hit. Saving Abel's song is cliche and stupid lyrics, so I said they'd prob go the Soulja Boy route and reference themselves so the few ppl that find their "music" to be "good" (at minimum) will give them a shot again. I sure hope not..
