I disagree, this will be their second last Top 40 charting song ever on Modern Rock/Alternative. It will peak in the 30s, and so will the next album's lead single, after that, I say they are pretty much an MTV only band
I still love the band though, solid single too

I say they are pretty much an MTV only band TRL is gone now though, meaning there is currently no music-related show left on MTV. Then again, that might be part of Wentz's plan. Release a new video and bring back HIS SHOW (FNMTV) to debut it. That would suck

I'll have to pay closer attention to this one the next time I spin the album.

Anyway it's the best choice! This would be huge if it was the lead single...At least in CHR

This isn't in FMQB's going for adds in Modern Rock, though it's listed as going for adds to CHR/TOP 40 on 20th January.
Here's a link for the video. The first thing that came to my mind after starting watching the video was that it's really similar to New Found Glory's "All Downhill From Here" video.
Funny video! Imo, FOB never fails in terms of videos. Most are pretty good. Especially those from "From Under The Cork Tree".

I so want a return to dominance for Fall Out Boy at Alternative, but I'm not expecting it. In fact, I'd say the chances of true dominance are less than 10%. However, continuing to churn out low 10's to upper 20's type hits, with some longevity, is still attainable.
OK, worthlessness lies below.....
GO FALL OUT BOY!!!!!!!

I don't hear any potential Alternative hits on this new album. Everything is so poppy. They had a few songs on Infinity On High like "Thriller" that could've done something. There was a lot in From Under The Cork Tree to choose from but the single that followed "Dance, Dance" killed their momentum.

I haven't heard this yet, but the spelling in the title makes me cringe.

The spelling in the title makes me cringe. What does "Suite-Pee," the first track on System of a Down's first album do for you then?

#37 peak here, and not a whole lot better on Pop. This song is weak, should have gone with the Gold Standard.

Though I'm now a fan of theirs and reasonably know now what to expect from a Fall Out Boy album, I was rather disappointed by Folie a Deux (despite it's great cover). It didn't even improve much with subsequent listens. It's just too bloated and boring.

problem is that there's too many ballads, same thing that made Panic At The Disco's "Pretty Odd" pretty boring. Pop Punk ballads just dont really work

Pop Punk ballads just dont really work Yeah, I didn't end up liking that album too much, either. They tried way too hard to prove themselves as a legitimate band and they deviated too far from the sound that built their audience to begin with. It was so fascinated with psychedelic '60's pop that it all ended up running together overall, and at 15 tracks, it was just too long. And sure there was lots of melody, but they failed to come up with all that many memorable hooks.

"What A Catch, Donnie" is maybe my favorite song the band's ever made. I don't know what band you're listening to.
