I'm interested to hear how this turns out. The first album wasn't too bad a debut, if unoriginal. It's a shame everyone says the brothers are dicks.

Very excited to hear this. I loved "Here I Stand", so I'm hoping this is similar to that.

I don't find them to be dicks at all...I've met them before and they were pretty chill guys. I feel like this band genuinely cares about the fans.

I'm hoping for a little more "House of Cards" and "Pandora" (at least I think that was the one) and a little less "Here I Stand" and all the other songs on the album. Good lord, did "House of Cards" completely misrepresent them.

Is it "Never Takes Us Alive" or "Never Take Us Alive"?

Loved the debut! House Of Cards and Here I Stand are classics for me!
House Of Cards peaked at #38 on Modern Rock...It deserved much more...Freaking awesome song! None of the other three singles charted...

From Absolutepunk.net:
Madina Lake's new single, "Never Take Us Alive," is now available on iTunes. The band will also be shooting a video for it next week with Shane Drake.
Here's a youtube link for the single:
And also a link for "Never Walk Alone", a track that will appear on their upcoming 2nd studio album "Attics To Eden":

I'm surprised I never commented on this song. I'm also surprised I never knew there were singles after House Of Cards & Here I Stand. Where the heck was I back then? Probably not working at that point. I blame unemployment.

Unemployment was not a factor. Just didn't know what else to blame back then. Actually being unemployed would give me more time to probably have heard those anyway right?

I think we all know where the blame really lies.
Adam, how in tune with the Lord have you been lately? God moves in mysterious ways, it might just be that he saw it fit for you not to have heard those singles. Let us have a moment of prayer, so that the Lord may forgive Adam, in his holy grace, so that Adam may be blessed with the ability to hear these singles, and others that he may have missed.

Unemployment was not a factor. Just didn't know what else to blame back then. Well, let's see you could've blamed... "you, the viewers," "the boy's parents," or "the schools." The first one is a classic Kent Brockman quote, the second one is a variation on it, and the third one comes from Family Guy.

The other song I was thinking of earlier that I liked wasn't "Pandora" at all. I think it was "River People."
Meanwhile, this song doesn't suck; it just doesn't do anything for me in the slightest.
