Here is the other British Christmas classic. In fact, we could say that this one directly competed with Slade in December 1973, in what was to truly become one veritable Christmas Chart Glam Slam! Alas, Wizzard lost, but still managed a #4 placing. And like Slade's "Merry Xmas. Everybody", this one charted multiple times. Only this time it's just five - again counting with this year's run. But in a way, Wizzard win, since out of those five, all but one managed to snag a Top 40 placing. Which is just what happened this very week, as it grabs the #31 position. Now on to the video. As one YouTube commenter says: "I'm im surprised the kids aren't scared of them"!

Cute song. Out of the two I prefer "Merry Xmas Everybody".
