o once she hits it for one day, i hope she gets herself off that chart ASAP lol. I dont want people on here talking about how high her negative bullet is. good thing she will go recurrent after she goes below 20. her chart run will look legendary.

Weekend airplay favors P!nk and Avril..
I expect P!nk on the final update to be -550ish and Avril -950ish.

LOL...Pink fans, let me tell you something. Avoiding a thread for three days isn't going to make the problem go away. I was wondering why they've been so silent.
Glad to do the honor...

This already has 32 weeks on the chart. A -1000 drop or lower for the next few weeks is actually a good thing. I want WK to start climbing fast soon.

This already has 32 weeks on the chart. A -1000 drop or lower for the next few weeks is actually a good thing. I want WK to start climbing fast soon. Yeah right! If this was lingering with a -200 or -300 bullet all her fans would've been boasting about it's longevity. Please don't throw that 32 week excuse on the table either because it spent at least a good 8 of those weeks around #38 or so. So to sum it up, if you don't count those 2 or 3 months that it was lingering around #40, this song has a pretty normal chart run. Espechailly when you do it by spin count. It's like a 'normal' number 1. After it finally took off, it rose normally, and now it's falling normally. It's no 'Breakaway' single. The 32 weeks on the charts thing could've worked, but when you break it down, it's ONLY been in the top 20 for 15 weeks now. The majority of it's chart run was OUTSIDE the top 20.

Even if you take away those 8 or however many weeks it was below the Top 30, there's still 24 more weeks and the song looks to spend another few more weeks before going to recurrent. Either way, six months in the Top 30 (or even the Top 20) is nothing to sneeze at. This song pretty much went against all the odds and most chart normalities and still managed four weeks at #1. Longevity works both ways too. It had a slow climb and where pretty much any other song in the last few years would eventually fall, the chart rise for this song went the other way and started off slow before exploding and maintaining a 500+ bullet for probably about two months, even a few weeks into its run at #1.
I'm not a huge fan of this song (I like 'Who Knew' and pretty much all of the other singles from 'I'm Not Dead' more than this) but really, now you're just trying to make it look like this song did nothing special during its chart run when it actually probably has the most interesting chart run of any song in the 2000s on the CHR/Pop chart.

LOL @ Trollatina! Sweetie, you need to get over your hate on anything that succeed and has nothing to do with your favorite 'legend'. This song is not your average #1! I am not gonna say it's the best #1 of the year but it is the #1 of the year with the most impressive run... for several reasons! 4 weeks at #1 & 4 weeks after its peak still Top 5 = SMASH!
We don't really care of what you think, anyway ... trolls will always be trolls! Thanks much and have a wonderful day! See ya, goodbye! .

I'm sorry, but the only thing INTERESTING about her chart run was that it reached #1 in May, after it was relased in October. That's the only thing. That whole 8 or 10 week stint outside the top 30 doesn't qualify as interesting. It was just trying to jump start when it was still a fairly new song.
An interesting chart run would be a song that began falling in the midde of it's chart run, and then re-imerged and became a hit. U & Ur Hand never once lost it's bulle while climbing up and looked like it was finished. This was something that did not happen to this song. Rob Thomas 'Lonely No More' is interesting. This is just is not. Lingering around #40 is more common than you think.
A chart run like this: 38-31-26-22-20-18-18-19-24-26-25-20-16-10-6-5-3-3-1
is interesting. Now i don't know Pinks exact chart run but i'm sure it went something like this: 40-38-38-39-41-39-40-38-38-32-28-26-23-21-18-15-13-8-7-5-3-2-1-1-1-1
If 'U & Ur Hand' was a song by a new artist and it had the same exact chart run, no one would label it as interesting. But just because it's Pink and she didn't have a hit for years, fans are going out of their way to point out that 'she beat the odds', when really her odds were just like everyone elses.

Legendtina, seriously, your fighting a battle you will never win.You are in Pink's thread. Are you going to win? No. Statistics back up the argument that this song has one of the most bizarre runs on the charts in years. Once you get the official stats on the song, instead of what you "are sure the run was like", then feel free to talk but until you have those, the argument is mute. And then find another song that has had a more interesting run, (O and be sure it took 6 months to reach #1)

Actually legendtina, P!nk jumped from 5-1 in her chart run! Also now we haven't been posting the numbers. But if you look back we didn't post them all the time. Her drop is getting bigger and bigger. So what?? It happens to EVERY song. And the fact that she hasn't even seen a negative bullet of over 1000 is great. She has been in the top 10 for about 12 weeks now. If you really want to know her chart run I can go get it for you. I posted it on the previous page. YAY! I FOUND IT! .-106-64-49-46-41-37-38-38-(39)-(36)-(37)-(36)-(39)-38-40-35-30-29-24-19-15-10-10-9-8-6-5-1-1-1-(1)-(2)-(3)-(4)... 13 weeks in the Top 10 14 weeks in the Top 15 15 weeks in the Top 20 18 weeks in the Top 30 29 weeks in the Top 40 32 weeks in the Top 50 Its all lookin good so far! :) 13 weeks in the Top 10! HELL YEAH! BTW...the #'s in ( ) are the weeks she had a negative bullet. :) So as you can see she has spent 13 weeks in the Top 10. Which is really good. No not posting it isn't gonna make it go away. We were posting it because we were glad she moved up a spot. It was for shits and giggles. We have moved on to Who Knew now. This song is over and it had its fantastic chart run. Now we are moving on to Who Knew. So we weren't not posting it because its decrease was bad, we stopped because she wasn't in the #2 spot anymore. lol

LMAO! I know. And I added in this last sunday's #'s too and updated the weeks at... So thats her official chart run. She may be falling, but this entire year I have seen the #1 songs go -1000 RIGHT after leaving the #1 spot. So she is still doing good.

- The mere fact that this song CLIMBED BACK at #2 after 3 weeks of being out of the #1 and passed the subsequent #1, with the number of weeks it has already been heard in so many radio stations, is something INTERESTING. - Her climbing from 5-1, as it was mentioned, is still one of the best climbings to #1 of the last years: INTERESTING. - FIVE consecutive weeks of NEGATIVE bullet until its week #12 inside the Top 100 (11th week in the Top50) and THEN rebound with a never ending bullet, was INTERESTING - Keeping a 600+ bullet for almost 2 months inside the Top10, beating up bullets from favorite new singles such as Girlfriend or MMW was INTERESTING - Recovering after a HUGE FLOP that did not even go to Top40, and a minor debut single that did not receive significant airplay support, to get a 4-WEEK #1, when everyone was saying she was dead is INTERESTING - A song that was supposedly to get recurrent 2 months ago, still being at #5 with less than +1000 bullet (yet), beating stats of favorites such as Beyonce after going to #1 is INTERESTING - The fact that a song about masturbation :-Xis competing for being the AIRPLAY SONG of the YEAR is INTERESTING ... I'm tired now, but I could keep on... does anyone want to add more to this INTERESTING list dedicated to an un-interesting troll???

I'm sorry, but the only thing INTERESTING about her chart run was that it reached #1 in May, after it was relased in October. That's the only thing. That whole 8 or 10 week stint outside the top 30 doesn't qualify as interesting. It was just trying to jump start when it was still a fairly new song. Opinion, dear. And find me another song in the last 15 years for this chart that did that and I'll eat my keyboard. Songs go backwards a position or two on the chart before reaching #1 (Britney!) but for a song to completely lose a bullet for a few weeks, somehow struggle to remain in the Top 40 *AT* #40 after previously peaking at #35, only to comeback from that and get a bullet anywhere from +500 to +900 (or somewhere) from the high 30s up until reaching #1, yeah, that's interesting. I think everything after it reached the Top 30 is typical but tacking on the beginning of its chart run... at the beginning makes the overall run for this song fascinating! I think that in itself is interesting as well. I mean, tons of people comeback from long stretches of no-hits or little-hits. I'm personally surprised that Pink did it with this particular song though. Either way, you can say that her run was uninteresting just as much as I can say it was interesting. We each have our reasons but it's really not worth arguing over and you can't say we're wrong just as much as I can't say you're wrong. But you can't say this song is just a song with a typical chart run considering everything it was up against. Sorry bud.

Legicunti please you're sounding like a fool now.
The song's chart run would have been praised if it were by a new artist. The reason it's getting so much fan fair is that in the country you live in, when radio disowns an artist, they usually don't give them a second chance. Pink's last album underperformed, SG underperformed though it did well enough and WK was a colossal flop. So to see this song teeter on flop territory and then come back and not only do well but hit #1, is nothing short of awesome.
Don't be so bitter.
