Due to some discontent last week, I have decided to use the recurrent/gold designation as given by the Mediabase charts for the Sans Recurrent Chart.

It's good to see Train get knock out of the top spot. I have no idea why the song is doing good. It is quite possibly their worst single to date.

So was that Train's second week on top? If so, then that continues the streak of zero single week #1 songs, started in 1998. And for those who hate the song, at least the song has not been to #1 on AT20 - yet.

I'm not very fond of that song either.
What was the last song to spend a single week at the top? Awhile back when either Josh Groban or Hall & Oates spent just a couple of weeks at the top, Casey mentioned the last song to do that. I think it was that song by LeAnn Rimes and Elton John (the title escapes me).

"Written In The Stars" spent two weeks at #1. The last song to spend only a single week atop the AC chart was "Recover Your Soul" by Elton John back in the spring of 1998.
