I'm not crazy about the album cover but I don't hate it, I like the fact that all four of Kelly's albums have very different covers and artworks. I played the preview 107 times today. I can't wait to hear it in full and have more details about the album.

A couple of people pm'd me with their email addresses for Save You and like a dumb ass, I inadvertently deleted them. Please pm me again if you're still interested.
I hope it's clear that this version of Save You IS NOT Kelly's. LIL!

This is kind of random, but does anyone know where the performance of "Beautiful Disaster" that was on Breakaway was recorded?

Speaking of Save You. I was watching tv tonight and some show came on and they showed that some song came on named Save You was playing by Simple Plan. It's a different one right? I didn't listen to enough of it to see if it was the same one.

Wow, no song out yet and R&R's HitPredictor already has the girl moving up in a majour way !!! I know it is only 30 seconds but damn -- the song sounds like Pink! :( Perhaps I will feel differently in the full version HQ.

That sounds so awesome. I'm so excited for Kelly.
I remember being really excited about MD too but there were all these little negative rumblings leading up to it too that don't seem to be happening this time around.

I might be mistaken though. I have to add that this snippet has got me very excited for the new album. Not that I wasn't before.

Pink and Kelly have a somewhat shared similarity in style but they don't sound anything alike. From what I recall, Kelly is much more harder and edgier in terms of rockness. Pink still got that 'pop' sounding themes to her songs, even though she's still rock.

Hole is definitely her rockiest song. Kind of Rock/Pop with Funk undertones. It's such a great song and Mike Watt's bass is outstanding.

But I think some of her vocals here sound like Pink and it sounds like one of Pink's other songs :( But -- this could just be because it isn't a High Quality clip or anything.

New Kelly Clarkson: Definitely doesn’t “suck” Melissa Ruggieri, Richmond Times-Dispatch Pop Culture Blog January 10, 2009 www.mytimesdispatch.com/index.php/popculture/new_kelly_clarkson_definitely_doesnt_suck/A spitting, hyper drum track? A chorus that, while infectious, pitches so high that it leaves those of us with zero vocal ability screeching to ourselves in the car? Yep, Kelly Clarkson is back and it sounds as if she’s re-dedicated herself to monopolizing the charts. (read more at link)

I love the song, but it upsets me the reviews are starting to act like My December was a mistake and now Kelly is 'Back'. My December still sold over a million, and it was her most personal and critically acclaimed work to date. To be honest I'm scared to hear her new record because My December is an album that is so close to me and I know her new album is going to be way more commercial.

I have been listening to Kelly's stuff to get ready for this...particularly My December. I think (and hope) there will be songs like Can I Have A Kiss and How I Feel, which were poppy but still edgy.

I am worried aswell. My December is probably one of my favourite albums ever and the lyrics are so relateable and I was going through a weird relationship at the time of that album and it was strange how on different days I would find different ways in which all the songs related to it. Plus it was my album of Summer '07. I look forward to AIEW. I think I like the cover but I am not sure. I hate how they are making ehr out to be this pop princess when it is clear Kelly is destined to be a bit more edgey in all honesty. The only thing I don't look forward to is if I don't enjoy this album as much as MD as it will just make me think of Clive Davis and then I will get so annoyed.

My December was really robbed of record sales. There isn't a bad song on this album, from a production or vocal standpoint and it is very cohesive. I really can't wait for this new album and I hope it does well.
