I'm really looking forward to her interview Sunday - not only because of the possibility of hearing the song - but because of what she has to say. This will be her first real interview about the album, so it'll be interesting to hear info about the songs and the album's overall feel.

Wow, I have been gone a few days, and reading this new thread has been interesting! So many people in here now, ha!

And it just shows ya can't please everyone and people can flip flop with opinions. One minute MD sucks and she needs to go back to pop.....now the new single lyrics suck and are nothing compared to MD! Pretty funny at times!

I hope the album is called Masquerade, and not All I Wanted.
At first it did seem like Masquerade was riding the coattails of Circus/Funhouse/etc.......but it actually is its own different thing and has alot of potential. All I Wanted just doesn't grab me personally.

I think someone mentioned My Own Little World.....I think that fits perfectly!

I just want to hear the music already!!
I will confess though, I DO NOT like the fact that I read in one of those blogs or whatever......that the song sounds just like SUBG but without a bridge.

NOT what I want to hear, maybe they just mean that it is a pop song again?? I hope....

The other title is actually All I Ever Wanted. Also, pop justice said it was kind of like a cross between SUBG and So What if memory serves me.

I know. It's hilarious. That's why I issued my sardonic prediction about the new song that some people will say they love it, some will say they hate it, and some will over-analyze it to death. Snicker...

Well, this can't be said for everyone, I was and am a huge fan of MD since the beginning, and I'm sure a lot of people here stood by Kelly's side and found the album amazing just like I did.

Of course it can't, everybody has their own opinions. I love MD too, it's a great album and you can tell Kelly put her heart and soul into it. At the same time I couldn't be happier that she's back in the pop direction, there's nothing like a true Kelly pop song!

But anyway, I was listening to the radio as I was driving to school this morning, and as I was changing stations, I found BOY. So of course I kept it on, but then the DJ's started talking about the new album after. They knew that the album was coming out in March and that she worked with Ryan Tedder. The girl described it as rock, but like Breakaway. She didn't seem to be all that informed when she explained it, I thought it was funny.

Stations in the US will be getting the single on Tuesday, January 13. RCA is keeping a TIGHT lid on it. Many record reps haven't even heard it. Kelly's new record is getting all of the resources of RCA for promotional push.

Plus, there might be a one-off California show involved in the promotion. Can't say more than that right now.

I'm guessing that the Cali show is Ryan Seacrest's.
I'm so happy that RCA is giving Kelly al their promotional resources. She's made a lot of money for them so she deserves it.

Kellys Biggest Iowa Fan was asked if the Cali show was a private show and this is his answer.....

All I can say is that it would be a full concert, but it isn't 100% confirmed yet. There will be other artists billed on the show too. Think of it as a "special event" concert in the likes of a mini Zootopia or Wango Tango only without the radio tie-in. That's all I can say, like I said, it's not 100% yet, but Kelly's name has come up as being a part of the show.
